TRAINING DIRECTORY

The mission of Bantry Integrated Development Group is to develop the social, economic, environmental and cultural resources of Bantry and the surrounding area for the purpose of improving the quality of life and creating full and equal participation of all sections of the community.

Bantry Integrated Development (BIDG) is funded by the European Union, through Area Development Management Ltd (ADM).

This Education and Training Directory is a list of trainers and training providers in the Bantry and West Cork area. It is to be used as a resource to access training and education.

In producing this directory, Bantry Integrated Development Group, hope to assist in creating a greater awareness of the existing education and training services in the locality, and through that, improve access to training. In a rapidly changing world we recognise the need to train and retain, and hopefully this directory will help people to become more highly trained and therefore more employable.

It includes as many persons and organisations as possible, and our apologies to any people or services that may have been omitted. We intend that this directory will be updated on a regular basis and so would appreciate feedback on new courses that are organised by subject. Under each subject heading you will find an alphabetical listing of training providers, together with contact details and information in the courses they offer. Some courses are provided in a classroom situation and may qualify for certification, while other trainers deliver training on an individual basis without certification. It is up to you the user to check the details and choose the training most appropriate to your needs being developed, as well as any changes to the information given here on trainers and courses.
